New York resident Jason Halpern has extensive experience in the real estate industry. As the founder and managing partner of JMH Development, Jason Halpern was recently involved with the Astor LIC development project that is projected to be completed next year.
Located along 36-20 Steinway Street, the Astor LIC is set to be open for leasing sometime around the spring of 2021. The 143-unit residence sits between Northern Boulevard and Steinway Street, which is a part of Western Queens. The name is a mashup of the neighborhoods Astoria and Long Island City where it is centrally located.
In constructing the building, special emphasis was placed on the interior and its fixtures and finishes. The kitchens have an open design and feature white countertops with two-toned blue/gray stained wooden cabinetry. Each home will also come with Bloomberg and GE appliances, including washer and dryer units. Other features include baths installed with porcelain floors, tiles, and black matte hardware. Except for the bathroom/s, the apartments will be outfitted with wood floors, and some select apartments will have terraces.
The residence also provides its tenants with several amenities. Described as lushly landscapes retreats, residents can enjoy the outdoor fireplace, sun lounge, an outdoor lounge for movie night, and an open-air fitness center.
The place is an urban palace for the affluent New Yorker, containing just about everything a person needs. Other amenities include a rooftop dog run, remote workstations, and a conference room.
When constructing the building, the builders kept staying local in mind. For this reason, transportation is close by as the M and R trains at Steinway Station are accessible, and there is dining, shopping, and recreational establishments in the vicinity.
